Made from earthenware, it is a solid piece, where the natural colour of the clay is covered by layers of a burgundy glaze that has creamy coloured crystals in it. This is then coated again by another layer of transparent glaze. All materials used are non toxic. It has been fired to high temperatures in the kiln making it non-porous and easy to rinse after use
